It's a dog collar made of woven nylon, strong enough to tow a car.
But the clip of course is soft plastic. Built to not last very long.
It's 20 mm wide so some kind of square metal link would do the job. But it needs to be closeable after fitting.
I don't mind if it has to be permanently closed.

No, it doesn't have to be adjustable. A d ling shackle might have to do but ideally I'd like something with two straight sides which won't pucker up.

The nylon webbing is actually very cheap to buy. If you dont mind the colout I may have some spare. It is easy to sew.
