Concertina Spring Hegner Multicut 1

Has anybody had to replace a concertina spring?.I had to replace one that had broken,I have had the machine quite a few years.The replacement from Hegner has tended to work loose and come out of the two small holes that locate it,I have tried to put different tensions on the blade but it still comes out.
I have a couple of things that I intend to try,but before I try them I thought that I would see if this had happened to any other member.

Problem solved using a lighter version of lock tight ,it appears to have fixed it.This was suggested to me by ChippyGeoff,thank you Geoff.
