I don't fit composite windows myself, as far as I'm concerned they haven't advanced far enough yet - they're still in their infancy.

Being an avid Rehau fan and having used to manufacture it for about ten years, I buy only Rehau for windows and doors. Composite doors I buy the outerframe from my Rehau fabricator (Euroglaze Systems) and the slab and hardware from GBW Performance. The only reason I don't buy a complete door from them is because I'm not a big fan of the Duraflex profile, it's a bit too brittle.

A quick question for MMUK, really out of curiosity, but why buy the different components from so far away from Blackburn, when I would have thought you would be able to find a Rehau fabricator in your own town or neighbouring one and you have the likes of Gap, for the slab, just round the corner

Trade supply or supply and fit?

Only used them once for a residence 9 window but CWG choices were very good

I normally use Dempsey dyer in Yorkshire who I've been very pleased with

CWG went bump years ago owing me over £15k
