Commissioning a new cast iron table saw top.

Having never owned a table saw with a cast iron top from new, what are the best practices for cleaning the oil off it?
I am assuming that it'll come with a coating of oil for protection while in storage and shipping.

WD40 then wax it, it’s a tool not a pet, don’t worry too much about it

Just don’t use silicone, other than that, don’t worry.
Machinery wax is expensive, but one tin lasts years
