Well, folks, the real tension starts tomorrow  I suppose the question is who will still be in the running by the end of the week - Tim or Sven's men?

I'm no football supporter but I watched the game today and my money is on Tim

I take it that there's tennis starting up on top of all the football nonsense? How depressing.

Doesn't Tim have to play a certain Swiss gent in the 2nd round who has not lost on grass for donkeys years?

Sven's men will still be in their comp next Saturday (morning at least) - I wish Tim well but only the weather can make him stay in SW19 that long.

Roger Federer is probably the best player ever and would be my favourite to win Wimbledon, although Tim has beaten him a few times and Wimbledon does sometimes throw up a few surprises - although I do agree, if Tim were to win the tournament it would be the surprise to beat all surprises

Has Timbo ever won anything tho'?

Yes, far more than most people realise (sorry I can't quote his record as I'm not that much of an anorak). Unfortunately, he tends to be judged purely on the fact that he's not won Wimbledon - but that's only one tournament.
