Hello,

I think Starrett combo squares are possibly the best available anywhere. They are just superior in every aspect. Even the best M&W which I also have, is not quite as nice, though I like the protractor a lot. Money wise there is no contest, the Srarrett is marvellous.

The old Brown & Sharpe ones were rather lovely.
