Looks great Zed. Right up my street. I'm not jealous if you have that amount of wood going to your burn pile. Nope. Not one bit.
 
Thanks for all the kind comments guys - it means a lot considering the incredible talent present on this forum.

Nelsun - it's not that I burn wood gratuitously you understand. I always seem to end up with offcuts that are too small to store on the rack and too big to fit in the woodburner. I hate throwing wood away (ask Oli, my apprentice - he spends countless hours re-organising the "it'll come in handy one day" pile) so when this order came through I adjusted the proportions by no more than a few mm here and there and was able to use up 8 bits of 150 x 485 TulipWood left over from doing some custom door linings.

Eric - as for the housing joint it was actually one of the few times when I eschewed power and went all unplugged!! All done with Stanley No 45 and finished with Record 71 router plane. Very satisfying indeed.
