I'm looking to get a new blade for my circular saw;

It needs to have 30mm bore, 300mm diameter and upwards of 70 teeth (preferably more like 80 to 90).

Mostly going to be used for cutting grooves into acrylic blocks sometimes lime so it needs a true flat top blade (V important).

I had a look on the Axminster website but the information on the type of grind isn't shown.

Any ideas or thoughts on a site with more definitive blade specs?

Cheers.

Have a look at the Atkinson Walker blades on Workshop Heaven. They look very good. Think I am going to order one for the flip over saw.

If you take your current blade to a saw doctor and tell them what you need, they can grind it to your needs. Might cost you a tenner?

Unless you go for a thin kerf (2.2 mm) 300mm diameter with 120 ish teeth you are unlikely to find a blade with flat tops. If you are only doing a shallow cut then you could use the blade I mentioned above.

Otherwise I would recommend 96 tooth negative hook 3.2 kerf with 2.5 mm plate triple chip and get your local saw doctor to grind the tops flat.

E Crowley saws or NLS saws will make up whatever pattern you require
I havent used them for a while but both give excellent service

NLS stopped making saws a few years ago.
they can modify a standard blade as can most people selling blades
