Hi all,

As I'm sure you are aware, we recently had a little cmpetition on UKW (Lathes) Forum. The beginner's prize was a day tuition with me. Loz however lives in Ireland and doesn't feel able to come over for just a day tuition but has offered his prize in a Charity Auction. The highest bidder takes it!!

I have selected a charity: LOROS, which is a local hospice charity that does some really great work here in Leicestershire. Take a look at their site: http://www.loros.co.uk/

Bids will be via PM to me please. The auction will be open until Mid-day on Sat 19th Sept, this gives 2 weeks for everyone to see it and make a bid.

If you would like to find out about me and my lessons then my website is http://www.turnersworkshop.co.uk/tuition.html if you want to take a look.

Good luck to all. Any questions please make a post!!

Cheers,

Richard

Hi Richard,

pm sent. I hope you're going to keep us posted on what the highest bid is. That we we can bid again when outbid.

Cheers,

Dave

I've already had a day's training with Richard and he is a good teacher.
I can also vouch for the work this type of hospice does - St Margaret's in Taunton looked after my mother-in-law brilliantly while she slipped away with cancer...

Bid up people!

bumpity bumpity bump - ive asked the mods to make this a sticky so we dont have to resort to constant bumpage.

Hi all,

Just back from my stag weekend!!! Checked my PMs and I've had some new bids. The highest so far is......

Richard
