The other thing you can use is the smooth section of a half round file just after the teeth finish, before the tang starts. Just don't try and burnish with the file teeth though :oops: :lol: - Rob
 
I'll get a proper one burnisher then.

£42 is to much maybe a second hand one of ebay for me.

A teeth-ground-off and then polished round file would work, if you have more time than money.

I just use a back of any good old chisel, they're hard enough. You just have to take care you don't slice your finger off in the sharpening process :roll: :wink:
