Hi everyone, my first post here, I hope you can help me. Can anyone please identify what kind of wood this is? I live in the Netherlands, and I managed to intercept these lovely blocks of hard wood that were on route to the dumpster.
I would hate to see them go to waste, they feel so nice in the hand, and I would like to try to sell them on our local online marketplace, maybe they would be suitable to be cut down for trophy stands or something like that.
But it would help if I knew the kind of wood it is and what it might be worth to the right buyer.
They are all machine cut, very smooth to the touch, straight edges and rectangular, although not all of exactly the same size. There are a few of a lighter colour and fatter grain, I can't imagine any particular use for those.
