Hi, thanks to all who have come up with sugestions to my wood grain query. all have helped & although i am still not 100% on which way to go, i have made my decision.

i also have to say looking at an answer for my problem has led me to your excellent forum, which i did not know existed, i am now a regular reading through daily.

i did notice that some time ago there was a post from someone asking about american sites one i was going to mention was rockler i have bought from them on several occasions & they have jigs & all sorts of bits & pieces that you just cannot buy in the uk. (yes i know on further reading that rocker has been mentioned elsewhere)

another good site is eagle america @ www.eagle-america.com both rockler & eagle have delivered to me quickly & with no problems.
