We already are. We're leftys. You're included too. Even if you don't wanna be. Kissy kissy.
What is it about the right leaners that they are always moaning and complaining about anyone left leaning.
They've had 15 years of a right wing government and the country and economy has been left in tatters. Yet all we hear is them whining about how bad the left is.

I couldn't possibly answer that because I think that we are wired up differently.
Not saying that's a bad thing. We are all different and that should be celebrated.

Oh, I almost forgot , kissy kissy, lol.

It is reported (but without a name, so might just be fake news) that the first suicide has happened to avoid the taxes.

As I say, without more details it may just be fake news - however, nearer April when the tax comes in we may see a few decide that dying early is a way to save their farms for the next generation.

That's the problem - we haven't.
The last 15 years has seen a massive increase in wealth inequality.

The wealthy have massively increased their wealth
The ordinary working person has seen their standard of living plummet.

That’s been caused by free market neoliberalism: ie right wing.

The irony Phil is you are a tribal Tory who has spent your life voting against your best interests.

IMO, "Lefties" seem to have a bit more compassion for others, even if they happen to be poorer, or gay or whatever, whereas right leaners are more concerned with their own situation. A sweeping generalisation, I know, and I'm not saying either is better.

I'm not a Tory, just not a socialist.
Incidentally, the last time we had a government like this (('70s) the Country's economy did really well, didn't it? Or are you too young to remember the IMF?

Re my earlier comment on the straw suckers, I see the MSM have woken up to the clueless Steve Reed's impressive farming background. Tone deaf and gurning in his £400 French wellies. :giggle:

It might be news to you but they were voted out not because they were right wing but because they weren't. They were on a downhill slope since Cameron became a Tony Blair tribute act.

That's patently not true. The reasons why Tory didn't do so well at the recent election are legion. "Not being right" is not one of them.

That's patently not true either. This govt is nothing much at all like "the 70s".
What you wrote just makes it appear that you are trying to label something as "a thing that it isn't" in order that you can unfairly criticise and denigrate that thing for being "the thing that it isn't". It's a warped version of ad hominem attack, but setting up the ad hominem with a false equivalence.

You've been reading the Torygraph again! It's not doing you any good.

Right. You think we should pay full whack individually for pubic services we receive? Can you afford it? I couldn't and I don't know many who could.

I remember the 70s well. Wasn't doing too badly at all. Small business but had to stop trading in 79 with Thatcher's first recession. A lot of small businesses went the same way with the advent of austerity and the 45 years of economic decline which followed.
IMF generally regarded as a a neo-liberal disaster: https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/2020/11/26/it-is-time-to-decolonise-the-world-bank-and-the-imf
