You'll probably know Davies Timber then?
No - I've never tried them. I'm sure someone's mentioned them before but didn't feel able to recommend them. As a result, I stuck to the supplier I was familiar with. Have you tried Davies Timber? If so, how did you find them?

Gill

Until I found Johnsons that's where I went. Well they seem to want supply PAR and are just as expensive, but I ought to get some rough stock prices off them and compare. They seem okay, always very pleasant with me.

Edit - Gill, to go to your supplier from Kings Heath, Birmingham would be a 120 mile round trip (towing a trailer or using a roof rack) and using probably say £20 - £30 of fuel <ahem>. So with a whole day lost almost added onto the costs, for me I just can't see the benefit.

At those prices it would pay you to take a day off work, buy a roof rack, and drive up to British Hardwoods.

You'd still be quids in!
Even more quids in as I have the roof rack or trailer.
