Brass/Aluminium Handled Mitre Gauge Fence

Sorry, I looked for the most appropriate forum and I'm either blind or ignorant, but this was the only place I thought this would fit.

I had delivery of a Drillpro/New mitre gauge and was wondering if anyone has used slotted profile aluminium for the fence and what type you used. I know you can buy a ready made fence (I can't find the profile they have used though).

I opted for some 8020 extrusion ( on "the" bay item No.124159608433) in a 400mm length but I forgot that it's designed around an M5 thread so may change to another size after I've lived with this for a bit.

Yep, used a piece of 40x40 I think. It was Rexroth (which is the super premium option) but only as it was free. Over a short length and for home uses most easily available makes will be fine
