Looks good enough for pen turning, not sure I'd want to make a bowl from oak on it.

I'm not adverse to buying Lidl stuff but the lathe in particular has left poor impressions on everyone on this forum who has bought one. A search will return plenty of real-world results.

Have you seen the demo picture, looks both optimistic and dangerous. I would not expect that example was produced on that lathe. The tool rest is far too distant from the work for starters.
Must be loads of vibration.
Can't argue with the price though for a toy.
