I have a recently purchased Bosch tracks and guides (GKT 55 GCE PLUNGE SAW) and it's an amazing piece of kit. Wish I'd bought it sooner!

But, they use their own (and Mafell) shape of slots on the guides meaning the usual accessories sold for track saw guides are mostly incompatible - Most brands seem to copy the Festool design so have lots of accessory options. I'm looking for a square cut guide, but can only find the generic ones that don't fit Bosch or Mafell. The only thing I can find is a few rough looking 3D printed options. I'd prefer something metal.
Anyone have any options?

Thanks,
Ben.

Nice, I hadn't seen that one and it's compatible with the Bosch. Good find, thanks. Not cheap though!

The Mafell tracksaw has slots on the bottom for Festool tracks as well as the Mafell / Bosch.

When I traded up to Mafell, I kept my Festool tracks for rough work like cutting aluminium, and for small crosscuts where the longer Mafell tracks aren't an advantage.

If the Bosch saw has the same dual standard baseplate, you might pick up a short festool track and square ?

Thanks Doug, I've seen that, but as it comes as an actual piece of track with the angle guide on the end rather than an attachment it means I'd have to then connect it to my longer piece of track every time. So seems cumbersome.

Ironically the fact it’s a short piece of track is why I like it, it allows me to cut skirting, architrave, cls etc without having to join it to another piece of track, so on small jobs I don’t have to use a chopsaw. I’ve never found it cumbersome.

Hmm, perhaps I will give it a go then, I hadn’t thought of that advantage. Do you recall roughly how long the cutable bit of the track is when at 90 degrees?

This page says:

> the Angle Fence track itself is 13-1/4" long, with 7-7/8" cutting length available at 0

there is also short video on that page demonstrating the use of F-WA 205357 on its own.

Perfect, thanks. I've ordered the FSN angle guide from Bosch. I really like the idea of replacing my mitre saw with this piece of track for most cuts!

@benhen31 - FYI - the Mafell/Bosch bevel guide and Benchdogs square mentioned earlier are not mutually exclusive.

The Benchdogs square can be enhanced with the Benchdogs repeat cut system, which I find immensely convenient when cutting quantities of sheet goods.
There are also guide rail dogs that can be screwed directly into the Benchdogs square. When used with an MFT-style top, this "belt and braces" approach ensures the cut is square and the rail remains secure without needing to use clamps.

That basically makes it a site tool for cutting upto 8" joists and rafters.
It will be very handy in that role.
Just a pity they didn't make it 2 inches longer to boost the capacity to 10" with negligible extra length in the overall tool.

The likely reason is that they did not want to impact the sales of Mafell KSS saws.
