What!?!

The couple who have hired the Polish team - what are they on?

Do you people in the trade really have to deal with dipsh**s like that?
If you do, you have my undying admiration for not doing 25 in Strangeways after strangling the b**gers and burying them under the extension...

I almost felt embarrassed to be British, until I thought that this programme was made to provoke strong emotions. How the English builder could stand there and defend his poor standard of work and xenophobic attitude was unbelievable. I think (hope) that this builder was the exception to the rule.

Living near to SE London we have the choice of nearly every nationality of builder under the sun and I can honestly say that I have seen both bad and excellent examples of their work - it's not where you come from, it's wether you are a good and honest tradesman.

I had an extension done a few years ago, the team I had were British and were excellent, good family firm who had trained and took pride in their work. We had 1 snag that they sorted out, we paid 50% half way through and 50% on completion, but he was the highest quote! You get what you pay for!

I did feel sorry for the polish guy - the young couple had no idea of value for money!

It was interesting to see how the programme producers tried to balance the show but didn't go back to the young couple after seeing them in the middle of a crisis at their worst :?
