Does anyone have experience with these for wooden drawers.

I ordered a sample pair of dynamic runners from Hafele but these are utter crap. I'm now looking at the Blumotion system but i can't get my head around what i need for wooden drawers.

Say for a 500mm runner do i either go for the Tandem runner & the additional controlled closer @ £17.95 & £14.70. This option looks like you have to bore out a large 45dia hole.

OR, do i just go for the Tandem Blumotion Runners which incorporate the Controlled Closing Mechanism @ £31.52. The latter looks less preparing so is it all concealed within the runner?

Last question, these are the lovely, sexy self/soft closing, that don't slam the drawer at the end, drawer runners?

Sorry to be a pain but i need to make sure i have everything ordered correctly before i start

kind of answered my own question. The first lot is the OLD stock and the latter, the new design.

Anyway. Are these the sexy soft/self closers. Any other system out there, maybe not so expensive

You can get the sexy soft closers by edge drilling the carcass and inserting a soft closer "module" - B&Q sell bags of the Saloce modules quite cheaply. Not as "elegant", but if installed beneath the drawer almost invisible. It all depends on what the cost factor is

i've seen these but i have seen drawers that need next to no force for them to shut. The shutting action was very controlled and smooth. I was wondering if this was the blum system.

Yes blum motion are one of the best. The all in one are the easiest to fit.
The price you are quoting is way over the top, I pay £12.85 ex vat a pair for 450mm runners.

Try isaac lord or Hart Wholesale, Hart may not courier to your area, might be a minimum order as well.

Hettich do another type as well, hafele ones are a poor substitute.

Use the blum motion all the time so if you need help on fitting or construction of your box size give me a shout.

Nice one senior. I did think the woodfit stuff was expensive. I'll look over the isaac lord site in the morning.

I use the new Blum runners and find them to be excellent. Woodfit's prices are OK if you get the trade price. I buy from them occassionally because they do some stuff that Isaac Lord don't, for instance the large Franke adjustable feet for kitchen cabints
