Blizzard toy 4” wheels

Hi All
Just joined the group - lots of interesting threads to read.
I am looking to make a Blizzard toy for my first grandchild - due later in the year.
does anyone have for sale/ know where I can buy the 4” wheels - black tyre, red hub - made by Hitchin Components Ltd.
I’ve searched the web and seen a few old adverts on eBay but nothing available.

Just looked at their site. They have plain flat wheels, but not the type I was looking for.

Hi Keith. Have a look at their TW100 wheels. The photo they show only displays one side but I think the other side is moulded exactly as in your photo. I purchased some from them around 5 months ago to make my Grandson a toy tractor and have a spare one in front of me as I write this reply. It is exactly as in your photo assuming that you want a 100mm wheel although they may also do something in a larger diameter.

I've made four Mac trucks, the fire engine and the fork lift from the Blizzard book. Rather than buy wheels, I turned them on lathe which allowed me to make them more authentic.

I’m part way through making the V8 Landrover.
woodwork is fun, finding all the extra bits is the difficult part.

I see you’ve put a hard top on the landrover
Looks better than the canvas top.
is the Mack Truck and log hauler a blizzard design - it’s not in the book I have - that has a normal uk lorry style.
