Black walnut Partners Desk

Just finishes an American Black Walnut study. Here are a few images of the partners desk, I have got images of the rest of the study I'll put them up when I have time.
We did the leather insert as well, fairly simple really, just needs a bit of patience.

Very nice, that must of cost a fortune in walnut alone to make.
What was you wastage on it?

Walnut wastage is easily 100%.

It is less if we put a stain on it, but no stain on this job.


For anyone who isn't aware of wood wastage %age it's usually quoted as a figure of the usable wood, i.e. I wasted exactly as much as I used.
