After months of nothing but mfc this was a nice little project. Can't claim design kudos as I was just copying something the misses found online. American black walnut with birch ply drawers. Senior management was pleased!

very nice. i really like the fact that the drawers are hidden on first view.

Great that you've taken the three drawer fronts out of a single board and run the grain right across.

Getting those kind of details right makes all the difference.

Well spotted sir!

That really shows the virtue of making your own stuff - exactly right for the space, good use of an attractive board, and very practical. Definitely not available in any shop!

Very nice indeed. Do I spy a little mouse-hole in the top left corner for cable(s) to pass through? Cheers, W2S

Gorgeous. Is the top a single piece? How have you mounted it to the walls?

The top is made from two pieces, and is supported along the back by a batten screwed to the wall, and the two side rails which are also fixed to the wall. I can take a picture later on if you want.

That looks really good. Something like a Mac Mini could be mounted underneath at the back, out of sight, in keeping with the sleek, modern style.

Very kind offer, I'll pm you my address and you can send it over!

Didn't take any pictures of the process but you can see the underneath in this picture. The important bit was getting the two outside rails shimmed out from the wall so that they are parallel, ensuring that the drawer spaces are square.
Top screwed to rear batten from underneath and with stretcher brackets at front to allow for movement.
