I too remember this original thread... was very interesting then, even better now. Impressive the way the heat-loss calcs have been worked through - I would totally agree, a sensitive decision on balance.
It's going to look and FEEL amazing Jacob... real respect and understanding of its place, context and purpose (past and now).
b.t.w - I picked up a set of fine Edwardian stained windows locally a bit ago, £40 the lot. Came from an Edwardian house and the bloke had replaced the large 6 panel feature light on the half-landing with a new UPVC one, white, shiny, colourful and efficient. I did well that day :wink: :wink:
