Could anyone give my any advice on these.

Are they easy to fit?, I take it theres some sort of rail or track fitted to the top of the frame for some sort of wheel system sitting in this, and the outer door is hinged to the side of the frame?

I have a 2 standard door through lounge diner opening at the moment and would like to replace it with a 4 door bi fold.

I think it could be awkward for me as my opening isn't a standard size so I would need to possibly cut the doors, also there couldn't be any track (if this was needed) fixed to the floor as the wife has walking difficulties and I would be scared of it being a tripping hazard.

Any info would be great on how to hang them and if anyone knows of any suppliers.

Thanks

Very easy to fit maybe a little bit fiddly as you say you might have to trim the doors , most are hollow so you may need to remove the edge batten trim and refix. As regards the track its only on the head of the door lining the only thing that goes on the floor is the pivot point which is only about 2-3" from the lining so no trip hazard.

Depending on the weight of your doors you may need to have a bottom track as well as top. If they are just hollow doors then the top track and pivot on the floor will do.

Have a look at Hendersons, you can download the fitting instructions which give the required gaps between doors & lining.
