hello,

I am new to woodworking so I actually read a lot and I recently bought some DVD's fromTaunton Press but from the 3 I have bought, 2 are old VHS tapes from the late 80's remastered to DVD's: making kitchen cabinets and installing kitchen cabinets and coutertops

They are still usefull, especially the second one but I think one can get newer ones with probably different cabinet making solutions and especially better design.

So I wonder if anyone can help me finding modern DVD's :)

Bye

What sort of woodworking do you want to learn?

David Charlseworth's DVD's are excellent for handwork.

Steve Maskery's Workshop Essentials is very good for powered tools.

Not seen any of the made for purchase DVD's etc to compare but I like the woodwhisperer guy online.

I can second Steve Maskery's DVDs. His new one on the tenoning jig for the tablesaw shows his excellent design. It ought to be amust for anyone who wants to cut tenons with the table saw.

Chris Schwarz dvds are superb for hand tool oriented stuff, as is the wonderful dvds from Rob Cosman.
Cheers
Philly :D
