Don't forget to remove the plunge springs

By removing the plunge springs, is it necessary to use the locking lever on the router once setting the height via the table winder? I can see that being a pain if I need to get underneath and lock the depth every time I change the height above the table!
To be honest, I don't know, I always lock it - down to habit I guess

The link above is for the MOF001 2400w model. Does the 1/4" collet for that router work with the TRB001?

It does. The part number is 844276. Although it states it is for the MOF001, it is definately for the TRB001 as well.

I've only had my router for a few months so there are others far more qualified to answer this than me. However, I've had no problems with not locking the plunge depth, but I've not used very large router bits yet, i.e. panel raisers, etc. If I was using those then I probably would be inclined to lock the plunge depth, in fact, because my router table is very easily accessible underneath I prefer to lock the depth because it's so quick and easy to do, it's remembering to unlock it that's the hardest part  :)
