Bench/pillar drill recommendation

I purchased a Axminster Hobby Series AH16RD Bench Radial Drill at the start of the year, as I have a clarke which has exhibited the faults noted by the previous posters and wanted a drill with alot more flexibility than clarke offered. To be honest I havent used it that much up to now but it has easily coped with the work I have asked it to do and I think as far as I'm concerned it will be fairly future proof. I paid £170.00 for it delivered as it was in a sale.

How is your Axminster radial drill? I'm looking at those at the moment.

What about the lidl offering? There is a post on here somewhere and i think it had pretty good reviews.
