Hi Tony. now you have got your new toy, think about what you are wanting to cut with it. Blade selection is critical to getting a good finish. There is sometimes a tendency to get away with the blade in the machine. You will need a selection of widths and tooth pitches to get the best results

Being total novice I've no idea about blades, was told to buy biggest saw I can fit, and that's what I did ha ha,
Had few issues trying too post replys so hope this works,
What was the 1st thing you made on yours ?

The first thing I made was sawdust. Lots and lots of sawdust, as well as kindling for the fire.
Took quite a while before i was happy with what I was doing. Now I wouldnt be without that bandsaw.
