I am having to do my Axminster orders via the phone as there is not a local walk in store but it’s worth it
Maybe a I should start some sort of servicing option for their customers.
I have a chuck sk 100 that I would love to have striped down and serviced, any worn parts replaced.
Even if they had a mobile service a team with a van that did a day or two in towns that you could book or walk in
It’s got to be better to service/repair than just keep replacing when worn
Ok I have opened my self up to a whole load of comments

... Perhaps it was a form of nostalgia on part of their directors, which has now come to bite them on their rear-ends.

It's been the same group of directors running the company for the best part of 15-20 years, and it just seems they've been too slow to adapt.

Falling sales and inability to control their overheads, and there's only ever going to be one outcome.

They're selling a bandsaw for £170 that Lidl regularly sell for £70.

How many customers are going to donate £100 of their household budget so a corporate can fund their £600K hedging losses?
