Blessed if I can remember who came up with the idea, but those bar-shaped plastic magnifiers you can (or used to be able to) get work really well. Just cut to length. Ah, found it - 'twas Tony.

Why does everyone charge so much for their tapes when Brimarc charge less than a fiver for the Kreg ones

I had a problem finding a stockist for these, but a nice lady called Lynn in their sales department took my order and sent them direct.
