Axminster North Shields - 20% Off This Weekend

Just been down to Axminster North Shields branch and they have 20% off everything except power tools this weekend until Sunday. Some good deals with the discount. I picked up a Tormek T7 for £367.97 and a Lie Nielsen Studio Work Bench for £920.

In store only at North Shields branch I think, so may only be of interest to those close by.

Yep thanks Rob, I looked after posting. The 20% is also off only 1 item according to the website. I'd have gone tomorrow but am playing in a golf match so no chance unfortunately.
I wonder if they're struggling for sales? I've been in a few times midweek and the place was virtually empty, possibly a different story at the weekends.

They weren't enforcing the one item rule. I had 20% off on everything I bought.

I also wondered about the reason behind the discount and also concluded they may be struggling for sales in the North East.

It's a shame I missed it Rob as I'm lusting after some chuck jaws and could always find stuff that lightens my wallet. I'm a bit surprised they didn't email previous customers if they wanted to generate sales, that's why they took our details after all. :roll:

Seems a bit haphazard of them Mike as I've bought several times since they opened including one of their lathes. they checked my details each time.

Might be across your neck of the woods on Friday as we're hoping to arrange a golf game at Hexham.

I'm still turning down work and the list from my kids is growing and I've loads to do at home. I have to go down to fit a composite door for my brother in law on Thursday, not sure how I got talked into that!

Lucky you! My dad complains that he has never been busier since he retired. I suppose I should be grateful that I don't have to face that battle for a good many years!
