I have the Axminster "bandsaw" fence upgrade for my table saw. Lots of people use it for this purpose and it used to be called just "fence upgrade" (without portfolio).
What I found recently is that I could calibrate the fence to be accurate for a range, for example between 100-110cm or from 12-24cm, but not both.
It came to me that the tape measure was likely to be the culprit. I checked with a proper tape measure and found an error of 1.5cm at 100cm away from the blade!
Anyone else had this problem?
I've asked Axminster to replace with the Kreg adhesive tape measure. We'll see. I have a feeling they're going to send me another Chinese one.
