Sold Axminster CT150 Surface Planer (Assembly Required) £125 Collected

I am looking to raise funds to buy my first home and have decided that it is the rarely used woodworking tools that must be sacrificed to the mortgage gods.

I bought this Axminster Surface Planer toward the back of last year with the intention of stripping it down, cleaning it up and reassembling it however I only got around to the strip down and ordering of some replacement parts inc new set of blades, drive belt and some roll pins. When I got the machine home it was plugged in and tested, it worked fine other than the very dull blades.

No parts were lost or broken during the dismantling process other than a couple of roll pins which as mentioned above were replaced.

I have no idea how long this will take to put back together but for the right person this could be a nice little project with everything required other than a bit of time and willpower.

I'm interested, but have literally no idea how difficult this is to reassemble? May I ask - why aren't you doing it yourself (After all - you know how it came apart )

My job has been crazy busy over the past twelve months and requires me to dismantle and reassemble all sorts of things so it is the last thing I want to do when I get home. So it has sat in pieces for the past few months and I am fed up of looking at a pile of parts. I am clearing out all my woodworking tools (bar a few hand tools) as tinkering with machines is part of my day job and honestly I can’t be arsed with it in my free time.
