Commenting to bump your thread and also, selfishly, to ask a question. :)

I’m not a potential buyer at this point in time, but I’ve been curious about these new planes. I haven’t seen any reviews so far and would be interested to hear feedback from someone who has had their hands on one of these planes.

Also, is there any chance you could add a photo with the blade removed to show the Y-lever? In the Axminster promotional video, it looked like a new dog-bone type (the part that sits inside the cap iron), which is an improvement compared to the traditional style.
 
I decided to buy it..so I've basically advertised an item to myself lol.
