Hi all, I have just purchased a second hand Axminster AW106PT2 Planner Thicknesser. I was just doing a couple runs on some scrap just to make sure everything works according and then will take the time to make sure it is setup correctly. I have noticed that in the thicknesser mode the first feed roller (groved) sits about 2mm below the cutter blades. Is this correct? I did notice that the feed rollers do move up, but they are very hard to move. I tried with some pine and it does not even come close to cutting. Is there some adjustment point?

Any help or advice would be most welcome

You can generally adjust the roller height and pressure but 2mm below the cutting circle is about right for both the in and out feed rollers (y)
