Axminster AVWSL1000

What is the thread of the nut on an Axminster avwsl1000 lathe tool rest lock nut mine has been misplaced by a lodger I had along with the square locking washer that runs between the slot in the lathe bed, I have managed to get one from Axminster but they only had the one in stock and I was told it could be up to 6 months to get another ideally i would like to get back on my lathe now not in six months time

If you take any of the threaded parts to one of the shops selling fasteners, they will be able to identify the thread for you. The popular ones with modern lathes are either metric or UNC. You could just order a nut of each and see which one fits!
