The only reason for using titebond or other aliphatics over hide glue (in luthiery) is convenience.
Actually, guitar makers use hot hide glue for the joints you mention because they are easier to disassemble (with steam injection). Disassembly is sometimes required for a neck re-set or for repairs to a warped top for example. It has nothing to do with creep.
