Have a few questions please,

I am making some wall cupboards, the doors will be hung using concealed hinges and I do not want handles so would like to fit automatic door latches.

Would concealed SELF closing hinges and automatic latches be at odds with each other :?: . I have a qty of self closers but can use std hinges if needed.

Do these type of latches require a bigger gap than usual between the rear face of the door and the frame face to allow the push opening/closing action :?:

Also any recommendations for this type of latch  .

Thank you

If by automatic latches you mean the magnetic push to open type then they are normally fitted in conjunction with unsprung hinges.
Check out Blum website.

Yep. Just fitted some Blum tip-on for doors with unsprung hinges and they work very well. Minimal additional 'gap' required to operate the mechanism. The piston can be drilled into the carcass or surface mounted with an additional fitting.
