Hi ...

As a Triton user, I'd certainly welcome an indication as to how many of us there are in this forum (may be easier just to start a new topic ) ...

Hi,

I've been lurking here for a very long time. I read the forums daily and I'm always amazed at the knowledge and skill that is available here. I have to confess that I not really a woodworker but more of a DIY enthusiast albeit not very skilful :(
I recently invested in some "Triton" gear in the hope that I can expand my horizions.....only time will tell :) In the meantime I'll continue to read the forums as I play/learn about my new toys. It's nice to know there are other "Triton" user here as I'm sure I'll eventually need some advice :)

Regards, Paul

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum.:D

You are now on The Slope TM, one of the many that the unwary fall victim to when good tools are about.

Hi Paul, i`m a closet lurker too as well as being a skill deficient enthusiast. So i`m glad to see i`m not the only one here. :D I have had a Triton 2000 workcentre, with saw and bevel ripping guide for about 5 yrs now. I havent the space or cash for a table saw or multi function machine but the Triton gear does a cracking job at a fraction of the price.I need to get the dust collection stuff to finish off my set up.

As for a seperate Tritoneers section.......... No, i don`t think we need one.Triton threads, like any others, can be picked up on at any time by anyone interested, not just Tritoneers, or a new thread started if needed.

Just musings from a lurker.

(maybe i should change my name to `Lurkeo`?)

I'm another "Tritoneer". I have a Workcentre 200 with Triton saw installed. I also have the Maxi sliding extension table and a home made crosscut sled that runs on the fixed rail of the Maxi. The other Triton kit I have that has been particularly useful to me is Multistand. Well two of them actually. I use these to hold a grid of 2 x 4" for cutting sheet material. The tilting heads mean that I can swivel the grid to an almost vertical position for loading on a sheet of ply, MFC, MDF etc then swing it back to horizontal for cutting.
I don't think that there are enough of us to warrant a separate section. The Aussie Woodwork Forumssite has a Triton owners/users section and even that doesen't see a lot of traffic.
