I have two hopes for the Champions League this season

1. The winners are an English team again, to really annoy UEFA
2. It's not Chelsea.

Had to, my son is mad for Rooney plus Ronaldo, sort of rubs of on me a bit, to think I was so close to playing for Manchester United too, if only the old knee hadn't let me down.
My team is Norwich... my son has not stopped laughing since sunday.
I hate to say it but I want a Man U v Barca final.

Mine's Barnsley, so I thank you and your team from the bottom my heart!

Oh you can rely on Norwich to balls it up on the last day, remember getting beaten 6-0 on the last day in the Premiership.... only 4 years ago.

I can remember getting beaten 6-0 pretty much every Saturday in the Premiership!

What a walkover!!! :D

Shame about Darren Fletcher though, perfectly good challenge and all. :(

I wouldn't mind seeing a Man U Barca final as it should be a good game and Man U Chelsea doesn't seem exotic enough - though I do want an English team to win so that they can dance round Platini waving the trophy at him.

Enjoy it while it lasts, Platini will no doubt be introducing some new rules that mean we can't win and the French will get a bye to the final

I thought your lad was a Gooner, Bob - I assumed you were too!

That's the main reason I started the thead!

Brad

I thought if you lived in and around Manchester you are considered a ponce if you support Man U rather than Man City.

Nah, that's just a myth put about by bitter City fans.

I would say that it's around 50:50, but the respective attitudes couldn't be further apart.

City fans hate anything to do with United with a vengenance. They would be delighted for Old Trafford to burn to the ground and for the club to go bust.

United fans meanwhile, pat City fans on the head in a friendly and caring manner and would be perfectly happy for City to finish runners up every season.

Incidentally, the fan spread is certainly not 50:50 in schools. According to Dan jr everyone is a United fan except for the twins, George and Oliver, whose dad makes them support City.

Poor sods...

...'Dad, why can't we support United like everyone else?'

Cheers
Brad
