Hi folks,
Not having space for a table saw, and being tired of working on my front drive, (weather permitting), I need a sliding compound mitre saw. For one thing it will fan the woodwork fires again, and to heck with the arthritis!
I was going to wait for the new Bosch saw, (with the pantograph sliding mechanism). However it looks like a long wait before this model reaches the UK, and in any case with 20% VAT it's gonna be an expensive buy, just to save a few inches of floor space.
So I am waiting no longer.
I am torn between the DeWalt 12" and the Hitachi C12Rsh.
Are there any observations on either, or even an alternative please? I am a bit concerned about motor noise by the way, so any input there would be welcomed. Also any info on Tooledup.com would be useful. (I get a 'too-good-to-be-true' feeling about their prices!)
Regards and Thanks in anticipation
