I've been using Sony Imagestation to upload my pictures and until now it's been OK. However, over the last couple of days whenever I try to upload I receive a message saying that the pictures have been successfully uploaded, but when I try to access them I get a message saying "Generating preview, check back later". When I check back later, the message is still there.

I emailed the helpdesk who advised me to check back later ( ) and if that doesn't work, try uploading the images again. Well, that's what I've been doing for the last couple of days and the problem is still there.

It's driving me nuts.

I could start using another storage facility but I've got used to Imagestation so would like to stick with it if I can sort out this problem. Anyone got any ideas what's causing the problem?

Cheers

Also use it, last upload about a week ago, no problems.
Will try another during the week from the fast connect at the office.
My dial-up is so slow, we still use cleft sticks and runners in this part of the world!

Hello Paul, I've just tried to upload a photo and got the same result. Says upload is complete but when checking the album I get the message Generating Preview also.

Hi Alan, sounds like there's a problem at their end - I thought I was doing something wrong. I wanted to post some pictures so used FreeShare instead - that's the one Alf suggested in her excellent recent tutorial on posting images. It works quite simply.

Cheers
