This thread discussed my abortive attempts to remove the blade in a saw that I brought back from Japan. I've just found 10 assorted blades for the same type of saw but having totally destroyed the handle in my abortive attempts, I need to buy another saw. But where from? Does anyone recognise this type of saw?

Thanks

Roger

From the description;

"The blades of these particular saws are replaceable and are held securely in the wrapped handle by a simple screw....... "

I will have a look in Tokyo Hands next time I am near but it would help if you could tell me where you got it. I do not remember seeing that type of saw. here are some samples from Joyful Honda Japanese saws

I may not be able to get to Joyful Honda until April as I will be out of Japan from the 21st of this month.

PM me if you want help.
