" As part of the remodel of our back garden, she has now asked me to remove the 4 foot fence dividing our gardens and replace it with a 6 foot one which she has already nicknamed the Berlin Wall."
You.

I don't understand the basis for the complaint in the first place. Is there some covenant that restricts you from using your front garden or parking caravans?

Ah, now I get you. It is simply that, if they are going to complain about our garden, she wants a fence high enough that they can not see over. I believe the fence to be ours, but if not I'll simply erect another right next to it.

In the house deeds its states that a caravan can not be a permanent fixture or used as a residence. It was neither. It was there for a few weeks whilst I waited for parts as the storage yard does not permit you to carry out work whilst on their site (I think incase anyone else's van is damaged).

As far as I'm aware as long as a vehicle is not classed as abandoned there is not issue there either. I believe the definition of abandoned is a vehicle which ticks one or more of the following;
No registered owner
No tax or SORN
Risk to health and safety
Risk to environment.

Certainly not our car then.

The icing on the cake is that on the way home from work on Friday someone smashed into the back of my sons car. So now there's another rough looking car on the drive whilst the insurance decides what to do.

The Caravan one seems quite common, I assume it's from the days when real Gypsies were more common and covenants applied to land when it was sold to avoid them setting up camp (I guess that still is a problem today with travellers). Clearly doesn't apply to a modern touring caravan used for holidays. You may find the sort of person who complains about a caravan on your drive for 2 weeks is not going to be appeased for long by any action you take to remove the source of their annoyance, they may just take it as sign that they can exert their 'authority' at any time they please.
Good luck with it, weird neighbours can be a real pain.
