Hi Esc
Not heard anything - I imagine it will take a good while for the paperwork to be sorted out before we see any more rasps from him.
Be happy to be proven wrong, though
Philly :D

Better by them up... they are going for double an triple now in the States (except for a company up in New York called Tools for Working Wood who seems to be reasonable, still).

Aah - the lure of the unobtainable.

I think I'd rather be guided thusly...

I nipped over to CHT on Tuesday and had a rummage through the remaining rasps.

I managed to pick up a no 9, 13 and 15. The handles are solid enough, but not pretty. In time I can replace these with something nice.

I am glad I made the effort to secure a couple before it is to late. CHT still have quite a few, but they wont last long.

Good luck Mr Auriou hope your back in business soon.

Esc.

Michel Auriou is trying to start up again but it will take at least another 6 months before production starts again and there are many hurdles to clear.
I will keep you abreast of any significant developments. All being well the rasps may re-appear in Autumn 2008. Here's hoping! :)
