Wow Bob when I said "More Please" I thought we might wee one in a few weeks!

Nice work. I might make one of those for my daughter.

Great job Bob, bit of a revelation to me to see you take so much time and effort to wax the end of the handle. Point being if a jobs worth doing, do it right. Thank you and look fwd. to more, greedy aint I? REgards Boysie (Eugene).

Thanks, all.

This one, being such a basic turning, did not take too long to put together. It also helped having done it once so I knew some of the video pitfalls to watch out for. I only had to turn three of the toss toys to get enough usable video segments to do this one, where I had over a dozen of the little boxes by the time I was done that one. :D

In regard to waxing the end of the handle, on the first of these I made yesterday I completely forgot to wax it before I parted it off, so I had to jam chuck it to apply the wax to the whole thing. The second one I made I did not bother to jam chuck it. On the third one I decided at the last minute that reversing things on a jam chuck is such a useful thing to know how to do that I would go ahead and demonstrate it anyway, even if it was not really critical to put wax on the end of the handle.

Take care
Bob

If I'm being super critical Bob i'd say these could do with some post production editing. There are 'dead' spots that can be chopped out without any loss of content. This will keep the pace up. I think at the moment you are just filming the segments and publishing as is.

There are many cheap or even free video editors out there.

I really like the Jam Chuck sequence. It's good to see that attention to detail.

Oddly I have one of your pages bookmarked on making a bowl without a chuck. So if you fancy covering this in your next series ?? ;)
