Spent yesterday morning sorting out some more wood to work with.

I had a design in mind but what was laying around on the saw top did not inspire so I planed up two faces of each piece in picture below and then will thickness later. Maple, sapelle and oak.

Running the timber stock out after 14 years of retirement and trying to avoid stocking up again..

Sorry about the delay posting follow up re this thread, (been painting garage doors etc.)

The oak was used again to complete another tissue box, oak, lacewood, and sapelle.

Things have slowed up for me the past 12 months a picture of the last items completed so far.

All awaiting a polish.

No Bob, they are alway fitted as sliders, the track has a clear space where the sliders can drop out or put in.

i am sat looking at one of your tissue boxes right now, John. I am sure that many other members have also seen one in person this morning!
