Hello to all.

Just letting you all know who are interested in the Wixey Digital Angle Guage that axminster.co.uk are know selling the same item and it is called the Bevel Box and is priced at £23.25, plus £3.95 postage & packing. I can'nt comment on the item as I have not bought one yet but will be doing so, the item is New in.

Looks good, until you read the description that is:

Bevel Box is a mini waterproof digital protractor that provides digital readings between 180° with a resolution of 0.1° and auto shut off after 5 minutes.

That must be one of the worst pieces of advertising copy ever.

And then they wander into the area of untruth:

My guess would be if it is used on a milling machine or similar with cutting fluid, but that is only a guess, not being a "metal bender"

I think the waterproof part is an ingenious idea from axminster, perhaps they are pre-empting the vast flooding that part of the world is predicted to have when global warming kicks in :lol: :lol:

Either way, I think i'll be investing at some point, they do seem to be very useful gadgets.
