So I've been doing some reading and, for those on here who are based in RoI, there's some good news.
1. Amazon UK are correctly calculating and charging VAT & Duty on checkout, so no unexpected charges from couriers should be levied;
Money Guide Ireland - Amazon post-BREXIT
2. Amazon have a logistics centre in Dublin servicing Amazon Prime customers, so many items can still be delivered next day;
Irish Independent - Amazon offers one-day delivery
3. Amazon appear to be poised to open a fulfillment centre in Dublin, so presumably Irish customers can purchase items without additional VAT & Duty being levied;
Irish Times - Amazon plan Dublin distribution centre
That makes me feel somewhat better about keeping my Prime membership, given that my better half insists on keeping it as she's watching some series or other on PRIME Video...
