800mm clamping capacity. Good for thinner (30mm or under) panels

You can use the same trick Mr. Sellers does, reinforcing this kind of clamps with a wooden spine for extra strength.

My goodness. I've had 4 of these clamps for 25-odd years. Never come across them anywhere else and certainly not new ones. I find them very useful and easy to use.

I've got some, which I got from CPC-Farnell in Preston. They are some on the flea bay. I removed the plastic pads as I found that they marked the wood (would have been better if they had had a smooth surface), & found them to be quite unnecessary.
